Nikole Lindley has been appointed to serve The Connecticut Jaycees as the new Community and Individual Development Vice-President. In her new position, Nikole will assist chapters in running national and local based programs.
Nikole originally joined the Shelton Jaycees February 2000. Since joining she has served on the board as Vice President over Community, Individual Development and Membership.
She was nominated by the end of 2004 to become the 51rst of the Shelton Jaycees, and then was Chairman of the Board. Before beginning to serve her chapter as President, Nikole was awarded the opportunity to attend The Local Presidents Leadership Academy in Tulsa OK.
In her career as a Jaycee Nikole has been given several awards including The John H. Armbruster. Nikole was also honored with a Statesman award number 1077. And most recently was given the opportunity to attend a national convention, where she participated in the national speak-up competition.
Nikole is currently working towards a degree in Communications at Southern Connecticut State University. She works full time at a well-known retail store. And serves as a Corporator for Birmingham Group Health Services where she has been a volunteer for over thirteen years. |
